Coach's Corner
"Tough loss today against a resilient and disciplined Gordon team," said Emerson head coach Burke Paxton. "It has been a next man up mentality all week, with over half the team getting the flu within the past ten days. I thought we started great in doubles, winning all three matches. We battled hard but did not execute our game plans well at all in singles, and it cost us. Credit to Gordon, they did, and that is how they came back and won this match. We hope to learn from it and bounce back tomorrow at Endicott."
