Before Emerson, Paxton was the Men’s Assistant Tennis Coach at Endicott College from winter of 2018 to the summer of 2019. Paxton also previously served as the Director of Tennis and Summer Programming for Tenacity, a Boston based NJTL, and still helps out with the organization when his schedule permits.
Paxton graduated from Hamilton College in 2017 with a BA in Government and Hispanic Studies. Competing in the NESCAC, widely considered the best Division III tennis conference in the country, Paxton played on the Hamilton varsity tennis team all four years, earning ITA Scholar-Athlete honors twice, and serving as captain his senior year.
Paxton hails from Yarmouth, Maine, where he played in high school for North Yarmouth Academy, serving as team captain for three years and earning All-State honors his senior year, 1st team all-conference his junior and senior years, and second team all-conference his sophomore year.
When not coaching, Paxton still plays competitively playing in many adult tournaments throughout the area, and is an avid Boston sports fan.
