BOSTON, Mass.- The Emerson College men's volleyball team fell to SUNY Potsdam in five sets Friday evening in non-conference action at the Bobbi Brown & Steven Plofker Gym.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- SUNY Potsdam captured the first set 25-16 to snag a 1-0 edge.
- The Bears chalked up a 25-18 win in the second frame to widen the margin to 2-0.
- Emerson responded with a 25-15 victory in the third to narrow the gap to 2-1.
- The Lions eked out a 27-25 decision in the fourth set to push the match to a decisive fifth frame.
- SUNY Potsdam prevailed 15-9 in the fifth to escape with a 3-2 win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Chase Fagen (Rye, N.Y.) notched a match-high 20 kills to go with six digs and two aces.
- Theo Hackett (Portland, Maine) posted 19 kills and five digs.
- Bryson Beck (Fresno, Calif.) registered 42 assists, four kills, and four digs.
- Riley Goldman (Sherman Oaks, Calif.) added four kills and three aces.
