BOSTON, Mass.- The Emerson College men's volleyball team posted a pair of 3-0 victories Saturday afternoon, topping Dean and Elms on Senior Day at the Bobbi Brown & Steven Plofker Gym.
EMERSON VS. DEAN
THE BASICS:
Score: Emerson 3, Dean 0
Records: Lions (7-13, 3-6 GNAC) | Bulldogs (3-19, 0-10 GNAC)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Emerson cruised to a 25-12 win in the first set to claim a 1-0 lead.
- The Lions rolled to a 25-8 victory in the second frame to extend their advantage to 2-0.
- The home side edged the visitors 25-22 in the third to wrap up the sweep.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Theo Hackett (Portland, Maine) posted a team-high nine kills while adding five digs and three aces.
- Chase Fagen (Rye, N.Y.) finished with seven kills, five service aces, and five digs.
- Bryson Beck (Fresno, Calif.) racked up 25 assists and a career-best 10 aces to go with four kills.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Emerson captured the first frame 25-22 to establish a 1-0 edge.
- The Lions rallied to prevail 25-22 in the second set to widen the margin to 2-0.
- Emerson triumphed 25-23 in the third to secure its second sweep of the day.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Theo Hackett (Portland, Maine) notched a match-high 15 kills and six digs.
- Chase Fagen (Rye, N.Y.) tallied 14 kills, nine digs, and five aces.
- Bryson Beck (Fresno, Calif.) finished with 36 assists, four service aces, and seven digs.
- Riley Goldman (Sherman Oaks, Calif.) chipped in with five kills while Liam Higgins (Redwood City, Calif.) recorded four kills.
SENIOR DAY CELEBRATION:
Prior to the final match of the day, the Emerson men's volleyball program recognized senior Bryson Beck (Fresno, Calif.) along with juniors Chase Fagen (Rye, N.Y.) and Liam Higgins (Redwood City, Calif.) as they will be concluding their collegiate volleyball careers when the 2025 campaign wraps up.
