MIDDLETOWN, R.I.- The Emerson College men's lacrosse team suffered an 11-10 setback in overtime at Salve Regina Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Salve Regina boasted a 2-0 lead after the opening 15 minutes of action.
- Emerson outscored the hosts 4-2 in the second frame as the two teams headed into the halftime break knotted at 4-4.
- The Seahawks sported an 8-6 advantage through three quarters of play after finishing with a 4-2 edge in third-period scoring.
- The Lions tallied goals by Toby Cunningham (Norwalk, Conn.) and Jack Burns (Clarksville, Md.) early in fourth quarter to level the contest at 8-8.
- Emerson grabbed a 10-9 lead with 5:40 left to play in regulation as Benson Offit (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) and Jack Burns (Clarksville, Md.) both netted goals.
- Salve Regina tied the game at 10-10 with 3:14 remaining in the final frame.
- The Seahawks scored the game-winning goal with 2:21 to go in the first overtime period to remain undefeated in conference competition.

- Benson Offit (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) tallied three goals on the day.
- Alex Menendez (Naperville, Ill.) dished out a team-high four assists.

- Emerson posted 31 shots on the afternoon while Salve Regina generated 37 shot attempts.
