STANDISH, Maine (October 18, 2025) – Emerson College All-Region senior Yasmin Defne Dadikhi took first place for the second-straight week to lead the Lions to a second place team finish at the Coach Dann Runnin' Monks Classic, hosted by Saint Joseph's College of Maine today.
Defne Dadikhi cruised to her fifth career win with a winning margin of over two minutes as she completed the six-kilometer course in 23:28.9. Emerson took second place at the event with 33 points, trailing just host Saint Joseph's (23 points) by ten and finishing ahead of Regis College (85). Defne Dadikhi outpaced AnnMarie Limberger from the University of Southern Maine (25:37.6).
Senior Olivia Kardos also turned in a top five finish for the Lions in the field of 31 runners with her time of 26:17.2.
