HOW IT HAPPENED  

• This game was defined by Central's offensive 2nd inning when they tallied 7-runs. Colton DeRocher and Dom LeLaPaz put the exclamation point on the inning with back-to-back homers, giving Central an early 8-1 lead. 

• The Lions clawed back beginning in the bottom of the 5th inning when Juston Fields drove in 2 runs with a single. Chris Ferara added an RBI of his own in the 7th inning, but Central had built a 10-4 lead at this point in the game. 

• Emerson scored two runs in the 8th inning, but Central's lead was too large for the Lions to overcome.
