HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
- The Lions had three players score in double figures, including Trevor Arico with a game-high tying 15 points, Asher Gardiner with 14 points and Brendan McNamara with 11 points.
- The Pride were led by Josiah Evely who scored 15 points while Curtiss Blische scored 10 points and pulled down 9 rebounds. John Paulino controlled the boards for the Pride, pulling down a game-high 10 rebounds.
- Neither side shot particularly well from the field as Emerson converted on 26 of 66 attempts (39%) including 9 of 29 from three-point land while Springfield converted 22 of 60 attempts (37%) including 10 of 28 attempts from beyond the arc.
- Emerson had a slim 5-point lead heading into halftime and was able to hold off any rally by the Pride in the second half to secure an 11-point victory on Saturday afternoon.
