MIAMI SHORES, Fla.- The Emerson College women's basketball team bested Concordia (Wis.) 69-62 in overtime Friday evening at the Cruzin' Classic.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Concordia raced out to a 16-5 advantage after the first quarter of action.
- Emerson clawed back in the second period to cut the deficit to 29-28 at the halftime intermission.
- The Lions outscored the Falcons 16-14 in the third to own a 44-43 edge heading into the fourth quarter.
- After Concordia claimed a 57-52 lead with 3:09 remaining in regulation, Emerson chalked up five unanswered points in the final two minutes to level the game at 57-57 and force overtime.
- The Lions netted 12 points while limiting the Falcons to five points in the extra frame to notch a 69-62 victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Bri Frongillo (Hopedale, Mass.) poured in a game-high 31 points while dishing out five assists.
- Jessie Silk (Newton, Mass.) posted 18 points and eight boards.
- Charlotte Levison (Atherton, Calif.) chipped in with seven points and 11 rebounds.
- Emerson finished with a field-goal percentage of 40% while connecting on 7-of-22 from beyond the arc.
- Concordia shot 28.4% in the contest and 27.8% from long distance.
- Aubrey DeBauch registered a double-double, scoring 19 points and grabbing 12 rebounds for the Falcons.
