BABSON PARK, Mass.- The Emerson College men's soccer team dropped a 5-0 decision at Babson Saturday. The Beavers are ranked No. 12 in the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Babson bagged an early goal, seizing a 1-0 edge in the ninth minute as Kento Abe scored his second tally of the season.
- The Beavers doubled their lead to 2-0 in the 42nd minute. McKenzy Pierre netted his first marker of the year while Luca Tusche picked up an assist.
- The home side added a score in the final minute of the first half to push the margin to 3-0. Liam Rhatigan buried his first goal of the fall as McKenzy Pierre and James Donaldson each recorded assists.
- Babson tacked on a goal in the 51st minute to widen the gap to 4-0. Alexander Yabolonovskiy notched his third marker of the season while Liam Goldstein and Luca Tusche both registered assists.
- The Beavers extended their advantage to 5-0 with a strike in the 70th minute. Liam Rhatigan collected his second goal of the game and James Donaldson picked up his second assist of the day.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Vigo Cassidy (Culver City, Calif.), Sean Connolly (Arlington, Mass.), and Jack Wasserman (Atlanta, Ga.) all fired one shot in the contest.
- Sophomore Wylie Jelinek (Brooklyn, N.Y.) finished with four saves in goal.
- Emerson managed three shots on the afternoon while Babson generated 17 attempts.
