NEWPORT, R.I.- The Emerson College men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision at Salve Regina Saturday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Salve Regina seized an early 1-0 lead, scoring less than two minutes into the contest as Daniel Goba notched his 10th marker of the season.
- The Seahawks doubled their advantage to 2-0 in the ninth minute. Daniel Goba bagged his second tally of the match while Aiden Crean picked up the assist.
- Emerson got on the board in the 26th minute to cut the deficit to 2-1. Daniel Bede (Framingham, Mass.) netted his first goal of the season as Jack Wasserman (Atlanta, Ga.) collected his first collegiate assist.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Theodore Bushara (New York, N.Y.), Vigo Cassidy (Culver City, Calif.), and Diego Garcia-Ocampo (Ventura, Calif.) all recorded a pair of shots.
- Goalkeeper Beckett Hobbs (Issaquah, Wash.) chalked up six saves between the pipes.
- Emerson concluded the contest with eight shots while Salve Regina fired 16 attempts on the night.
