HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
- Charlotte Levison notched a double-double for the Lions, scoring 13 points and pulling down 12 rebounds while Bri Frongillo led all scorers with 20 points.
- MIT was able to outscore the Lions in three of the four quarters in this matchup as the game remained tight well into the 3rd quarter. MIT saw their largest lead of the game with 2:19 remaining in the 3rd quarter as they led the Lions by 12 with a score of 55-43
- The Lions were unable to cut into the Engineers lead too much throughout the final 12-plus minutes in regulation. Emerson was able to get within 5-points on separate occasions in the fourth quarter but were unable to re-take a lead.
- In the final minutes. Led by Angie Choi and Christina Antonakakis, the engineers secured a 70-62 victory on Wednesday evening.
