HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
- Both sides put on outstanding offensive performances on Wednesday evening as the Lions and Seahawks both shot over 50% from the field. The Lions were led on offense by Bri Frongillo as she scored 40 of the Lions 87 points while the Seahawks were led by Briana Neary's 38-point performance.
- Kendra Dodd was lights out from beyond the arc; drilling 5 of 9 attempts from deep. Charlotte Levison made an impact all over the floor as she scored 11 points, pulled down 8 rebounds, dished out 6 assists and forced 4 turnovers.
- Despite a great offensive showing, the Lions came up short. After a back-and-forth matchup for nearly 39 minutes, the Lions held a 1-point lead with :39 remaining when Ashley Rourke drilled a god-ahead corner three that would ultimately give the Seahawks the final lead.
- The Lions were forced to foul in hopes Salve Regina would not convert from the foul line. The Seahawks were able to keep the Lions at bay and escape with a 92-87 victory.
