The Lead: The Emerson Women's Basketball team was led on offense by Bri Frongillo and Ella Bushe who both scored a game-high 14 points apiece. Charlotte Levison dropped in 13 points while also controlling the glass and pulling down 14 rebounds in Emerson's victory on Thursday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Bri Frongillo and Ella Bushee led all scorers with 14 points apiece while Charlotte Levison chipped in 13 points and also controlled the glass, pulling down 14 rebounds.
• The Lions only converted 4 of 23 attempts (17%) from beyond the arc while converting 24 of 59 attempts (40%) from the field. Despite their shooting struggles, the Lions were still able to hold off Wellesley down the stretch.
• The Lions had built an 8-point lead with just over 8 minutes remaining in regulation. Despite Wellesley's attempts to recapture the lead and sneak away with a victory, the Lions held on and won by a final score of 56-54 on Thursday evening.
