The Engineers of WPI set the tone early with a convincing victory in the first set, finishing 25-23. Catherine Reynolds (WPI) played a pivotal role with seven kills, and Lily Eldridge contributed five kills along with some stellar defensive work with 13 digs.
Parker Cummings tried to lead the Lions with 15 kills, but the Engineers' solid blocking and defensive efforts secured their lead.
