The Lead: The Emerson Women's Soccer team put on a dominant performance on Saturday afternoon as they found the back of the net 6 times and kept Mount Holyoke off the scoreboard. Securing their first NEWMAC win of 2023 by a score of 6-0.

First Half:
Emerson took control of the game right from the start, with Madeline Khaw scoring the first goal just 28 seconds into the match. The Mount Holyoke defense struggled to contain Emerson's relentless attacks. Brittney Righetti and Presley King added to Emerson's lead with goals in the 54th and 56th minutes, respectively. Yoshiko Slater extended the lead further with a penalty kick goal in the 71st minute, making it 4-0 in favor of Emerson. The first half ended with Emerson leading 4-0.

Second Half:
Emerson continued their dominant performance in the second half. Brittney Righetti and Dylan Parker scored two more goals in the 82nd and 86th minutes, respectively, sealing the 6-0 victory for Emerson.
