The Lead: Sophomore Devin Hill paced the Emerson women's basketball team with 14 points and six rebounds, but the Lions slipped in their second to last road contest out at Springfield, 81-47, on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Emerson found themselves on the other side of being outscored, 17-7, after the first quarter and shot 50% from the free throw stripe. Hill lead the Lions with four points
- In the second frame, Emerson tacked on 13 more points, six of which came from junior Ava Salti's two shots from range, as the Lions converted 50% of its shots from the arc. At the end of the second, the Lions trailed the Pride, 45-20.
- The third quarter saw Emerson be narrowly outscored, 16-15, as junior Olivia Deslauriers led the Lions' scoring with six points on 2-of-3 from the arc. At the end of the third, the score sat at 61-35.
- Emerson converted 41.7% of their shots from the field in the fourth stanza and had Hill had leading the pack with six points followed by junior Quinn O'Connor's four points. The Lions were outscored, 20-12, in the fourth as the final sat at 81-47.
