The Lead: The Emerson Men's soccer team was shutout by Wheaton (Mass.) on Wednesday afternoon. Theodore Bushara notched three shots on goal while Ben Deeming tallied 2 shots on goal but neither were able to find the back of the net as the Lions lost 1-0.

HOW IT HAPPEED
First Half:
Wheaton paced the Lions in the first half; notching 18 shots to Emerson's 4. Neither side was able to find the back of the net as both goalies and defenses held strong through the first 45 minutes.

Second Half:
The Wheaton Lyons broke the scoreless tie in the 67" when Angus Stringer was able to find the back of the net. With the Lyons ahead 1-0, Emerson's offense tried to even the score but were unable to. The match ended with Wheaton escaping with a 1-0 victory.
