- The Lions hit a snag on both side of the ball through the remaining four minutes of the quarter as the hosts got back-to-back shots from Hill and junior Carla Pelino to push them within nine at 22-13.
- Emerson stayed within nine through the beginning of the second before Brandeis took off and gained a lengthy lead over the Lions at the 2:30 mark of the second. As the half closed, Emerson found themselves still playing from behind at 44-27.
- The Lions went 3-of-7 from beyond the perimeter in the third and were 4-of-16 from the field with sophomore Ava Salti leading the way with six points as the Purple & Gold were down 59-38 to close the third.
- Emerson was narrowly outshot by Brandeis, 16-15, going 75% on the charity stripe and led by four points from both freshman Mackenzie Bruno and Hill with the final coming to 75-53.
