BRISTOL, RI - In day two of the Roger Williams Tournament, the Emerson Women's Volleyball team defeated the Lasell Lasers, 3-1.
Stat leaders for Emerson include Jules Augustine with 13 kills and Sam Harton with 24 digs. Fara Cohen had a great day with 9 kills, 16 digs, and 2 solo blocks. Leading for the Lasers were Sharisse Scott-Rawli with 8 kills and Caitlyn Garcia with 25 digs.
The first set was the closest of the match ending in Lasell's favor, 23-25. After that the Lion's hit their stride and took the next three sets. (20-25, 20-25, and 17-25)
Next up the Lion's will be on the road at Endicott on September 8th. Opening serve set for 7:00pm.
