KEENE, N.H. (October 3, 2026) – Emerson College posted a sixth-place team finish at the women's open race at the 2026 Keene State Invitational held at the Owls Athletic Conference today.
Sophomore Laila Morales paced Emerson's four entries by completing the six-kilometer course in 28:50.7 to finish 42nd among the 57 entries in the White Open race.
Williams College, ranked No. 2 in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II rankings, swept the top five places to win the team title with 15 points. Williams junior Helen Hurden won the race in 23:01.6 to lead the Ephs sweep. The Lions compiled 154 points for their sixth-place team finish.
