WELLESLEY, Mass. - Emerson College took on Wellesley College on Tuesday afternoon in NEWMAC women's tennis action. The Blue have played to national recognition so far this season, slotting in at no. 43 in the latest ITA Division III Women's Tennis Rankings. Emerson was swept by their hosts, 9-0. The Lions have never defeated Wellesley in tennis, going 0-9 all-time in matchups against the Blue. Emerson falls to 4-12 (1-6 NEWMAC), while Wellesley improves to 7-4 (2-1 NEWMAC).
