Women's Tennis Opens Up Spring Campaign With Victory Over Franklin Pierce

The Emerson Women's Tennis Team defeated the Franklin Pierce Ravens on Saturday, opening their Spring campaign with a victory.  Emerson improved their record from the fall to 3-2.  The Lions won two of the first three doubles, with Annie Woodbury and Eliana Flores-Barber defeating Grayson LaCroix and Sarah Rich 8-4.  Alex Weingarten and Thea Nagle defeated Kelly O'Donnell and Shelli Safran by the same score, taking a 2-1 lead into the singles matches.
