The Emerson Women's Soccer Team had five athletes earn All-Conference honors for their performances over her 2019 season. Two earned First-Team All-Conference while three athletes earned Second-Team All-Conference.
Sophomore Megan Rose (Danville, Calif.) was the lone goalkeeper on the All-Conference First Team. Rose finished the season with a 9-5-3 overall record and a 5-2-2 record in conference matches. Rose made 78 saves in her 18 starts, averaging 4.3 per game. This is Rose's second All-Conference honor after earning Second-Team in 2018.
Freshman Cali Bruce (Glen Allen, Va.) earned First-Team All-Conference honors as a defender for the 2019 season. Bruce is one of four defenders on the team, and she helped the Lions to only allow 18 goals over the season. Bruce added two goals and four assists in her first collegiate campaign.
Senior Veronica Alberts (Half Moon Bay, Calif.) earned Second-team honors for her play as a forward for the Lions. Alberts started 25 games, scoring three goals while adding one assist. All three of Alberts' goals were game-winners.
Junior Amanda Benavente (Boca Raton, Fla.) was a stalwart in the Lions' defense this year. Benavente started all 26 games for the Lions. She tallied one assist on the year, but her defense helped keep the Lions goals-against tally down for the whole season. Benavente earned her second straight All-Conference honor after a First-Team appearance in 2018.
Sophomore Grace Cosgrove (Sherman Oaks, Calif.) earned second-team all-conference honors as a midfielder. Cosgrove tallied eight goals and five assists for the Lions in 2019. She had a hat-trick against the Mount Holyoke Lyons on September 21st and scored four game-winners throughout the season.
