HOW IT HAPPENED

8": With the corner kick opportunity, Lesley crossed the ball towards the left post where it found the header of Mayberry and into the upper left corner to put the Lynx on top 1-0.

79":  Ingersoll, with a defender right on her tail, carried the ball down and crossed in front of the crease. She cut back in and got one on one with the goalie and nicked the ball just off to the right of Baar to even the score at 1-all.

90": A long throw in by Kerrie Larson found the foot of Carruth, who slipped past the defense and snuck the ball just past the reach of Rose and into the lower left corner with 14 ticks remaining for the 2-1 lead.
