HOW IT HAPPENED

14": Cosgrove received a through ball from Bruce up the middle and quickly notched her first goal of the game to put Emerson on top, 1-0.

17": Emerson answered three minutes later as Alberts drove to the end line, cut it back and found Cosgrove, who tapped in the ball to push the Lions lead to 2-0.

26": Similar to the second goal, Gough drove the ball into the right corner and crossed it over to MacQuarrie, who scooted in the ball just past the reach of Delgado as the hosts extended its lead up to 3-0.

27": With a corner kick opportunity, Alberts sent the ball from the right corner and crossed the ball towards the net and found the head of Cosgrove. Cosgrove headed the pass into the back of the net with the advantage now bumped up to 4-0 in Emerson's favor.

52": Mount Holyoke committed a costly foul on Cosgrove that awarded the Lions a penalty kick chance. The Lions took advantage and capitalized with McNamara sending the fifth goal just over the fingertips of a leaping Delgado into the left side.

61": Benavente found Bou Aziz in the middle and passed the ball off to her as she was running, which ended in Bou Aziz rolling the sixth goal into the back of the goal.

84": Van Pelt passed the ball over to MacPherson down the left sideline with MacPherson then cutting in with a defender on her and fired the ball in with her left foot.

87": The hosts sealed the win with three minutes remaining in regulation as a pass from Kase put Ingersoll up past the goalie. With plenty of space, Ingersoll booted the ball into the right hand corner.
