HOW IT HAPPENED

46": A mere 23 seconds into the second half, Alberts got Emerson's scoring started. Bruce played Alberts through down the left flank and she attempted a cross that deflected off Bartlett, which bounced off her hands and into the goal to give the Lions a 1-0 lead.

56": 10 minutes later, Emerson was awarded a corner kick that was taken by Bruce. Bruce passed off the ball up to Suter, who settled just beyond the crease and right footed her shot into the lower right hand corner past Bartlett to up the Lions lead to 2-0.

69": Bruce won the ball near the sideline and found Leto in the middle, who quickly passed to Bou Aziz, who was making a quick run into the box and then her left footed shot found the back of the net to seal the 3-0 win for the hosts.
