  • Emerson played their first NEWMAC tilt of 2019 on Saturday night, taking on the Wheaton (Mass.) Lyons at Rotch Field.  Emerson fell to the Lyons 19-6.

SCOUTING THE COLONELS

  • Curry enters the game with two players who have eclipsed the 20 goal mark.  Abby Dubel and Katie Parker have hit 26 and 23 respectively.
  • Leona Stevens and Sharon Doherty are the leading assisters, with Stevens having nine and Doherty having eight.
  • Jessica Finaitt has started all 13 games for the Colonels, allowing 156 goals and making 109 saves. Ginaitt enters the game with a 7-6 record (53.8 Win Percentage)

SCOUTING THE LYONS

  • Over the ten games, Mount Holyoke has amassed a total of 119 goals and a 5-5 record.
  • Abby Baldwin leads the Lyons with 41 goals, while Caroline Flynn has added 23.
  • Four players are the leading assisters, with Baldwin and Flynn have 10 and 11 respectively.  Deyscha Smith has 12 assists and Julianna Rankin has 12.
  • Mia Wysocki has started all 10 games for the Lyons in net, she has made 71 saves for a 39.7 save percentage.  Wysocki has a 4-5 record.

SCOUTING THE PIONEERS

  • Three players have eclipsed the 20 goal mark for Smith, with Emily Biggs leading the way with 22.  Chloe Harris and Maddie Ryan have 21 and 20 respectively. 
  • Briggs and Harris are tied for he team lead in points with 27.
  • Clelie Fielding has 24 points as the leading assister with eight.
  • Alyssa Schams is the leading goalie for Smith, making 78 saves in 11 games played.  She has a 5-4 win loss record and has allowed 106 goals.
