The Emerson Lions Cross Country Team took part in the Endicott Invitational over the weekend, with both the Men's and Women's team running in the races.
The Men's team placed third of three collegiate teams running while being paced by Joseph MacNeil. MacNeil had a time of 31:57 and was good for 10th overall in the race. Michael Cerullo was close behind MacNeil, coming in with a time of 33:21. Philip Legagneur was close behind Cerullo with a time of 33:41. Kevin Serrano had a time of 36:24 and Tyler Ericson had a time of 36:59 to wrap up the race for the Lions.
The Women's Team placed four of four, with senior Chelsea Swift leading the pack. Switch came in 11th overall with a time of 21:30. Madison Lynch was not far behind Swift, as she came in with a time of 22:17. Jessica Mann followed Lynch with a time of 23:01. Carolyn Mooney and Taylor Ranney finished also simultaneously, with times of 25:35 and 25:37 respectively to finish up the race for the Lions.
The Lions next race is on September 22nd when they travel to Gordon College.
