Men’s Tennis Falls To Otterbein In Close Match

The Emerson Men's Tennis Team fell to the Otterbien University Cardinals On Tuesday, marking their first loss in match play during the spring campaign.  Emerson opened the match by taking two of the doubles pairings.  Bass Lin and Dan Okin defeated Jared Deel and Brandon Wall 8-6 in the top pairing.  Maximo Lawlor and Jeff Pratt defeated Connor Radune and Tyler Wharton 8-6 as well. 

After entering the singles matches up 2-1, Lawlor and Lin were the only two Lions to win their singles matchups.  Lawlor defeated Radune 6-4, 6-0 and Lin defeated Wall 6-1, 6-0.

The Lions are back in action on Wednesday taking on Oneonta at 11:30 AM, for their final match in Florida.
