Baseball Celebrates Alumni Weekend

Baseball Celebrates Alumni Weekend
This past weekend, October 13-October 14, the Emerson Baseball program kept their tradition of playing an alumni game during the fall. This year the baseball alum coupled their annual game with a networking event the following morning with the current Emerson Baseball team in the skybox on campus in the Piano Row building.

The game was played on Saturday night under the lights at Maplewood Park in Malden MA, the home practice facility for the Emerson Lions baseball team. The game featured alums who graduated between 2007-2017. The group was split into three teams and a game of modified live batting practice was won by the "old timer" team of:
Lucas Einstein 07'
Bryan Fennessey '08
Kent Anderson '08
Ken Gold '08
Zach Wintrow '08

They always had a way of setting the foundation.

On Sunday morning, members of the current team joined in on an event hosted by Lucas Einstein '07 that featured a panel of Ken Gold '08, Geoff Lopes '12, Kent Anderson 08' and Frank Kelleher '13. Additional alums that were there to speak as well were, Brendan Lahr '10, Bryan Fennessey 08' and Nick Coit '11. The panel discussed how they navigated the job market right after graduation, and how they go their first job in the industry they wanted to work in.
