    BOSTON, Mass. - With five seconds left in the first overtime period, freshman Skyler Celotto (Westport, Conn.) netted the game winner to lift the Emerson men’s lacrosse team, 7-6, past Wheaton (Mass.) on senior day for the Lions’ first ever NEWMAC win.  Prior to today’s contest, head coach Matt Colombini and the Lions honored its 2019 senior class of Jared Brush (Detroit, Mich.), Marshall Tate (Taunton, Mass.), Bailey Kennedy (Swampscott, Mass.) and Fernando Gutierrez (Lancaster, Penn.).

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Freshman Skyler Celotto (Westport, Conn.) netted two goals with the Emerson men’s lacrosse team rallying late with four goals, but it was not enough as the Lions were edged out by MIT, 7-4, in NEWMAC men’s lacrosse action on Wednesday night.

  • Baseball Battles Back To Capture 7-6 Walk-Off Win Over Clark

    DANVERS, Mass. - The Emerson baseball team played comeback ball by spreading six of its seven runs within the final three frames and used junior Joe Paladino’s (Bedminster, N.J.) line drive single into center in the bottom of the ninth  to walk-off with the 7-6 win over Clark on Wednesday afternoon in NEWMAC play. With the win, the Lions captured the series sweep over the Cougars.
