Men's Volleyball Defeats Daniel Webster, 3-1

Emerson Men's volleyball defeated Daniel Webster College with a score of 3-1. Emerson raised their overall record to 7-6 and Daniel Webster is now at 1-7.

Daniel Webster took an early lead winning first set with a final score of 27-25. The score remained pretty even as both teams traded points, the highest lead of the set was only by 3.

Emerson took over in the second set tying the match 1-1. Emerson remained very competitive and at one point they got nine points in a row to raise the score up to 19-10. The set ended with a score of 25-12.

Emerson maintained the lead in the third set, finishing with a score 25-20. Emerson led the set in kills 11-7.

Emerson finished it off, winning the fourth set 28-26. The teams went back and forth on points, tying the score up at 20-20 until Emerson broke away with a three point lead, 23-20. Emerson's Stig Regan served an ace late in the 4th set to help the Lions take the set and match.

Emerson Junior, Jackson Wiley lead the match in kills with 17,  while teammate , Jared Gross lead the match with 19 digs.

The Emerson Men's Volleyball team's next match up takes place on March 3rd at 8pm against Emmanuel College.
